Why Choose Us

Every Smile Matters

One of the reasons Dr. Tolleson became an orthodontist is because he loves spending time with his patients. Every Smile Matters means that Tolleson Orthodontics is designed to provide individualized patient attention, rather than treating you like just another number at one of those mega-clinics. You matter to us and every patient is unique! Our goal is to give our patients a neighborhood feel, while providing high-quality and cutting-edge treatment. Plus we ensure that the orthodontist himself sees you at every appointment rather than just an assistant, you won’t simply be a step in an assembly line at Tolleson Orthodontics. We hope to follow the golden rule in serving as your care provider, that is, to treat you exactly how we would want to be treated!

Giving Back

Our mission is to take our theme “Every Smile Matters” beyond the four walls of our office. Our goal is to not just do business that way, but for “Every Smile Matters” to be a way of life. And we hope to inspire our patients and community to experience the joy that comes with generosity. We are regularly involved in sponsoring the local schools that our patients attend, and we also have special projects throughout the year. Our office is always looking for ways to give back to our community because without our community we wouldn’t be here.

A Doctor You Can Trust

Dr. Tolleson is an orthodontist you can trust. You can rest assured that every treatment recommendation and decision he makes will be as if he was treating his own family member. Our team will work hard to give you amazing results and answer all your questions.

One Doctor, One CONVENIENT Location

Unlike many offices in the area, we have one doctor and one location. You always know where to find us, and treatment decisions will never be confused by differing opinions. This will ensure that your treatment stays consistent and that you finish treatment on time.

Our location was strategically selected for your convenience. Highway 114 provides quick, easy access to our office, and we’re in an area that you might frequent regularly.

Modern Technology And Treatments

Orthodontics has undergone a dramatic transformation over the last decade in terms of using new technology to achieve a more perfect smile for patients. At Tolleson Orthodontics, we have invested in the latest orthodontic equipment so that we can provide you with the best orthodontic outcome. Whether its the use of our in-house digital imaging technology that allows us to plan treatments more accurately, or incorporating new resources such as temporary anchorage devices that allow previously unattainable results, Tolleson Orthodontics is committed to using proven modern techniques to achieve great smiles for our patients. In addition to traditional braces, we also offer a variety of the latest options in orthodontics including clear braces, self-ligating brackets (like the Damon System), and Invisalign.

Board Certified Orthodontist

An orthodontist is a dentist who, after completing dental school, completes a minimum of two additional academic years of study in an accredited orthodontic residency program. Not only is Dr. Tolleson an orthodontist, but he is also Board Certified and holds Diplomate status with The American Board of Orthodontics. This is a distinction that less than 50% of orthodontist achieve. Involvement in the certification process is a demonstration of an orthodontist’s pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence. Orthodontists limit their scope of work to orthodontics only and are uniquely qualified in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of orthodontic problems.

Orthodontists not only complete dental school, but also an additional two to three years of an ADA-accredited graduate orthodontic program. While completing a specialty program in orthodontics, residents learn how best to align and move teeth into beautiful, healthy smiles. Only those professionals who complete this educational pathway may call themselves orthodontists.

Only orthodontists who complete an ADA-accredited orthodontic program may continue on to become board certified by the American Board. Board certification is based on the highest standards of orthodontic knowledge and clinical skill. To become board certified, orthodontists must complete a thorough written examination in all areas of the orthodontic specialty. During a comprehensive clinical examination, orthodontists present several finished patient cases for review by the expert examiners of the American Board of Orthodontics and complete an oral examination that evaluates diagnosis, treatment-planning, and finished treatment ability.

Dr. Tolleson is board certified and has successfully completed the voluntary, rigorous examination process offered through the American Board of Orthodontics, the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the ADA and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists. He is committed to providing you with quality care.

Convenient Scheduling

We know that getting to the Orthodontist while juggling school and work is not always easy. Since 90% of your appointments during treatment are routine adjustment visits, we try our best to offer early-morning and afternoon appointments to work around your schedule for the majority of your appointments. We are able to do this because we reserve our longer appointment slots for the middle hours of the day.

Our Home Is Your Home

Going to the doctor shouldn’t be something you dread! As part of our approach to having a small and personalized practice, we like to make our office feel like a home away from home for both patients and parents. When visiting, you are welcome to enjoy drinks and snacks in our reception area, take advantage of our free Wifi, and play on our iPad bar.
